Playground Games are looking to grow their experienced internal IT team with a highly skilled and experienced Contract IT Infrastructure Engineer. 


Working alongside the Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for implementing and supporting the IT systems and services.

Operating within a demanding and rapidly expanding environment you will be approachable, reliable, and eager to broaden your skillset.

You should have: 

  • Strong VMware skills. 
  • Outstanding Windows Server skills. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory. 
  • Strong Microsoft365 and Azure experience. 
  • A solid understanding of network and security fundamentals. 
  • Experience of working with change management processes. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Experience with modern backup and recovery technologies. 
  • A passion for IT and videogames. 
  • A commutable distance to Leamington Spa. 

Desirable: 

  • Strong Networking or Security experience. 
  • Excellent Linux skills. 
  • Experience of version control systems such as Azure DevOps, Perforce or Git. 
  • Educated to HND/degree level.
